What we're all about
As students of science, we often forget the importance of communicating scientific findings in a publicly accessible way. We get trapped in a cycle of esoteric detail that prevents us from connecting our work to the broader scientific community and considering the impact of our findings on society. The goal of this magazine is to break that cycle.
We hope to bring our readers insights into the future of science and medicine from tomorrow’s leaders of the industry. These insights can range from worm genetics, to advances in understanding the immune system, to discussions of public policy and health care reform. Check back often to find the latest updates, analysis, and opinions, and drop us a mention on Twitter (@PhDish) or a like us on Facebook (facebook.com/thephdish) to learn more or suggest future topics for the magazine.
And we pronounce our name p-h-dish.
